The Minors Release form which is on the back of the NHSRA Membership form MUST be signed by a Justice Of The Peace.

Contestant Qualification

Students must be in good standing; not ruled undesirable for misconduct at schools.  Students must be under 20 at the first of the National High School Rodeo year (Aug 1).

A student can only be a member of the High School Division for a period of 4 years and Wrangler Division for a period of 3 years.  A student may chose to defer for a year but must still be a financial member and notify the Secretary of this decision.

A copy of current grade report, tafe or apprenticeship paperwork must be forwarded to the Secretary with Membership form

The National High School Rodeo Association was created to give high school students the opportunity to participate and compete in this unique and challenging sport. Although not recognized by high school athletics, the NHSRA offers a rodeo program that sets high school rodeo apart from other sports:  Competitors have the opportunity to acquire scholarships and grants for continuing their educational careers, whether that be in America or used in Australia.

To receive information on NHSRA membership, please email our membership department at tracey.locke@bigpond.com   with your name, mailing address and phone number and we will send you the appropriate information.
